The House of Delegates(HOD)is the legislative body of the ASRT and establishes professional standards of practice. It is comprised of chapter and affiliate voting delegates, with 168 potential delegates. Of those potential delegates, 60 are chapter delegates (including four military chapter delegates), and 108 are affiliate delegates.
The HOD meets annually to debate and vote on motions and proposed changes to the ASRT Bylaws and to adopt clinical practice and educational standards. During the meeting, delegates represent their affiliates or chapters and take action on issues that affect professional practice.
